Jan Obernesser of the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) has been named as a finalist for the Top Goaltender Award for the 2011-12 season. Jan has led Brooks to first place in the South Division with a 36-6-6 record, a 2.09 GAA and a .908 save percentage.

Adam Beukeboom, 17 of the Regina Pats earned his first career WHL shutout tonight versus the Swift Current Broncos. Adam made 27 saves for the shutout in a 4-0 win. Beukeboom, a Sundre, AB native has been a GDI student the since he was 14 years old. Link to story.
