ACADEMY COACHES

Kevin Swanson and Justin Cardinal will be running the ELITE Academy Program including providing the on-ice teaching with assistants, provide analysis as well as conducting all mentoring that is available. That means you will have access to 2 WHL Goaltending Consultants all season.

ON ICE SESSIONS

Goaltenders will follow a progressive teaching curriculum designed with elite athletes in mind. Technical improvements as well as tactical approaches will highlight this development. All on-ice sessions are 1 hour in duration. Only a limted number of goaltenders are accepted into each group. This provides goaltenders a low 2:1 athlete:coach ratio to maximize on ice development.

ON-ICE VIDEO ANALYSIS

GDI will use iPad2 mounted to capture video as well as have instant on-ice feedback if needed. These videos will also be uploaded to GDITracker to be viewed by the student later for review and reinforcement of skills.

Goaltenders in the Academy will receive daily reports online following sessions.

This feedback is essential in the process of developing elite level netminders. They will be able to understand both their strengths and weaknesses as a goalie, enabling them to take their game to levels they have never achieved.

This Online Analysis System scores skills, charts progress, archives lessons, gives specific feedback and links the video captured during that lesson.

MENTORSHIP MEETINGS

Coaches will host a semi-monthly online meeting to answer questions and to provide mental support and feedback to the students.

TOTAL COST= $3000 + gst

* $500 deposit

2. Payment Plan: 12 months ($231.88/month includes 5% administration fee)

3. Payment Plan: 8 months ($339.53/month includes 2.5% administration fee)
